Resistance came out in 2006. 2 yrs of dev time. They also claimed awhile ago the jump would be similar to Resistance to R&C.
BTW Blackhawk Down sucks; honestly its online sucked. Resistance has a decent online. As for GR so have I. =D

I'm confused as to what people are going to buy for the Wii in the upcoming months. On one hand Wii Play/Wiifit is selling great, then on the other hand games like SMG/Zack&Wiki are underperforming. Makes me wonder if Smash is going to crush the competition like I thought a year ago...

Complete utter BS. With other games available like CoD4/ME, in combination with different timezones, and the fact there has never been nowhere near that amount of people doing social slayer; there is no way in hell that nearly the entire Halo 3 install base was playing at the exact same time.
To be honest, I'm not sure what they can really do about it at this point. I mean from my perspective Uncharted and Heavenly Sword were on TV a lot and still didn't sell. Both are decent games or great depending on who you ask. So I don't know.....maybe they need to put some review scores on their ads like AC did.
SSBB moves consoles instead of going the way of Galaxy. Casual titles like Wiifit shouldn't outshine a great title like this.

Mass Effect doesn't offer a better cinematic experience than Uncharted. However, IMO Mass Effect is the better game.
If MS put a HD-DVD drive inside the 360 from the start, it would have cost more than the market was willing to pay. So that's BS.
Okay yeah, DVD isn't going to be replaced. Everybody let's continue to support SDTVs and DVD blindly because of the market share they currently control.
